Business Applications Developer

This job will give you the opportunity to work on a wide range of client projects using multiple modern Zoho platforms. A2Z care about their customers and take time to understand the requirements of a customer an develop them into something workable.

Job Purpose: To translate business requirements into a workable cloud based system while being able to maintain and develop programs for business use.

Job Duties

To take part in the requirements elicitation process, including tasks and deliverables for defining business opportunities or problems, planning and executing requirements gathering workshops to determine the best solution for the customer.

Working to analyse, define and specify CRM Requirements.

Reviewing current cloud based systems and recommending improvements to the system.

Designing and developing requirements into a workable solution.

Conducting tests to ensure the system is easy to use quickly and effectively.

Updating, repairing and modifying existing software.Supporting business applications that have been created by A2Z cloud.

Required Skills/Qualifications

The ability to communicate effectively, to understand client needs.

Programming Skills – Knowledge/understanding of programming languages including but not exclusive to HTML/CSS, JavaScript, PHP & Python, a basic knowledge of agile development.

Business Skills – A solution centric attitude, an understanding of both business modelling and the needs of the target marketing, or a willingness to learn.

Bonus Skills

Experience working with SQL

Understanding and experience working within a project scenario

Demonstrable business analysis skills, Process modelling and solutions design

Here at A2ZCloud we are Salisbury’s newest and most exciting technology company and our CEO needs help keeping on top of everything that needs doing. In addition to helping out in the technology company we are also launching a new Serviced Office environment for start ups, entrepreneurs and small businesses. The person we are looking for will be highly adaptable and be able to cope with the needs of the two very different roles simultaneously.
We envisage this role being full time, or nearly full time but are happy to consider job sharing between two individuals or a fixed period contract.
You will be bright and cheerful, flexible and happy to work in an environment where no two days are the same.

Initially taking responsibility for helping get the office building refurbished and managing the contractors, once complete you will be responsible for the smooth running and profitability of the serviced office environment that you helped create.

Salary will commensurate with experience but is likely to be in the range of £16 – £19,000 including 20 days holiday p.a plus bonuses linked to profitability.
