County Flat Roofing is one of the UK’s leading flat roofing specialists, working on both domestic and commercial single ply flat roofing projects. The company has been established for over 25 years and has solved a wide variety of flat roofing problems – big and small. Over the years they have built a reputation for high quality installations alongside excellent service.
County Flat Roofing were already very experienced in the Zoho platform and had made a significant investment in getting Zoho set up to their exact requirements. They were still looking, however, for a fully functioning dynamic email marketing system that could update itself daily in line with various criteria in their Zoho CRM, and that they could segment in any way they wanted to get the right marketing message to the right person.

A collaborative approach was used, with a representative from County Flat Roofing liaising with the A2Z Cloud developers using Zoho Projects. The CRM in use was quite advanced and personalised to the client’s requirements, so A2Z Cloud had to first gain an understanding of the rationale behind the design of the system.

Before the Campaigns piece of the work could be done, various issues in the CRM needed to be identified and fixed. Some existing workflows were identified as not working correctly. These were around automated task assignment but it was discovered that they were faulty. A2Z Cloud fixed these so that the right tasks were being assigned to the right person within the organisation.
County Flat Roofing wanted to be able to sync from Potentials in CRM to Campaigns but this is not default function and they did not want to change the structure of their well-established CRM system.
To get around this, A2Z Cloud created a custom function to sync the Potentials to the Contacts, thus allowing them to be synced from the Contacts module to Campaigns.Once the data syncing was done, the issue of working out how best to segment the data to achieve the marketing aims needed to be addressed. This was a highly complex task and A2Z Cloud worked closely with the client to tackle it in a step-by-step process, identifying the first level of segmentation and then creating various sub-segments until all the main lists were in place.
By the end of this process Paull Newsome, was delighted with the result, saying

County Flat Roofing now have a highly automated marketing platform, driven by Zoho Campaigns. With a little expert help they have been able to greatly reduce the time and effort they need to spend on their marketing. Now, with the new Google Adwords integration with Zoho, they can complete the picture by analysing which Google Adwords are working for them and truly measure the return on their investment.
